Re: Leaving BBB
It was actually a group decision that only 1 or 2 people were against... We decided to move along and go with the new change. I just happened to re-direct the URL like 1 minute before you refreshed your page and didn't have a chance to announce it.
As far as you not being able to log in... we'll need to figure out what the cause is. I've tested, along with several others, on many different browsers. What browser and version of the browser are you using?

Re: Leaving BBB
I hope this gets figured out Freddie. I wasn't around for the vote to require registration and I know a few people are not happy about it. Having it so that anyone can just hit it in log in is nice and is in the spirit of anti-moderation and freedom that BBB was created in.
I think the question a lot of people have is why? Why change it, its fine how it is, don't fuck with it...
However from what I understand there is at least one good reason to require log in. Again, from what I have been told running BBB/Flashchat openly the way we were presents some security risks, one of which is that someone only needed to know or figure out the url of the admin page to be able to elevate their user privileges and mess with people. This exploit allows someone to kick/silence/ban/etc other users.
Whatever the case, I have mixed feelings about the change. I think there may have been some communication issues here. If there are legitimate reasons for the change then most people would not have a problem it.
Logging in, and hitting the full screen button in flashchat makes the chat behave almost exactly as before with the addition of avatards and user profile information. I don't believe that this is the beginning of moderation, there are good people behind it all and I think they had good reasons for doing what they did. I hope everyone sticks around, its not really that big of a deal. Except I might miss Apache Beard, Booger Girl, Rusty Tromboner, Paco Rodriguez, Chris Sanchez, Jesus Crust, and some of the other beloved characters who frequented the BBB in the past.

Re: Leaving BBB
I removed the re-direct for now. You can use the old URL for now. We need to figure out your login issues.
My guess would be that the chat is trying to grab your token, but the saved token isn't valid anymore. Clearing cookies/deleting temporary internet files should fix that.
