We here at TCOP are always looking fro any reason to celebrate. Celebrating usually involves the irresponsible shirking of chores and duties in favor of spending yet another day drinking, smoking, or simply hanging out in the bigbangbar or all three, some combination of two, just one, two of them but not the other, two thirds of them, one forth, and so forth...

The celebration being held this weekend is in recognition of the incredible, astounding achievement of reaching 1000 posts on the legendary TCOP forums. As if this immense quantity of posts wasn't amazing enough, it is the monumental content of those posts that dwarfs every other accomplishment in all of the history of all mankind.

These vast stores of knowledge will serve as both guiding light and cautionary tale to generations of crusty internet loafers that are sure to follow in our almost mythical wake. Enjoy your weekend, this prestigious and momentous occasion of celebration. See you in the big bang bar.

Well, we did it, we really did it. It is truly astonishing and I for one could not be more proud to have been and continue to be a part of an accomplishment of such monumental importance.
